Can DHHS Do Anything Right? State Auditor Finds DHHS’ Provider Eligibility Screening Lacking!!
A new audit by the State Auditor shows ANOTHER problem at DHHS. This comes on the heels of another audit earlier this month finding that NCTracks is problematic.

I only briefly scanned the auditor’s report, but my knee jerk reaction to the quick read is another over-rotation by DHHS….the pendulum swings and they clamp down HARD on ALL providers – requiring unnecessary documentation and form submissions as well as having an arduous and lengthy application process for newly applying providers. We’ll see….
