I am at the meeting. As a tax paying citizen, please tell me that Aldona Vos does not have a body guard. Is this a state employee or is he paid privately?I Love your blog! Thank you for your coverage of the issues in NC!
Mystery solved! This question was posed by Senator Earlene Parmon in the DHHS Oversight Committee meeting. Aldona Vos denied having a body guard.
I saw a news story on this that was linked by a mutual acquaintance. I understand they got quite the grilling and the legislature took particular note of such fine things as getting different answers on the backlog and how much hardship money had been dispersed to the various providers.
It’s a mess. Here’s to hoping it works out.
